I purchased the BIOSSANCE Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel a while back from Sephora and I just got around to finishing it. I obviously have commitment issues when it comes to products. There are so many options out there these days. The great features about this product is that it is plant derived and helps to reduce puffiness and dark circles. Squalane is derived from Squalene which is a powerful hydrator for the skin. And peptides are an “Must-Have” ingredient to have in your skincare regime as well. Peptides are amazing for creating firmness, softening wrinkles, reducing puffiness, reducing redness, and they help to signal damage repair within the skin.

Now back to my personal review. I used the entire bottle of this gel and I noticed that my under eye looked brighter. I don’t have a lot of puffiness, but it did manage to make the area look smoother and less puffy. Now one problem I do have with under eye products, is that they tend to give me little-chicken-skin like bumps and this product didn’t do that. Big plus in my book!  Another great thing is that it didn’t feel heavy, but still felt hydrating.

Little tip: My favorite time of day to apply this product is in the morning within 20 minutes of applying my makeup.

Overall, I ended up liking this product quite a bit and now I have to go back and forth between some other eye gels that I love so that I can compare and see which is my favorite. Ohhhh the life of an Esthetican/Blogger. Always trialing and comparing products.

When I saw that this palette was coming out on social media a couple of months ago I said, “No, I already have a lot of palettes with those similar colors. Fast forward to yesterday, when I was going into Ulta to make a return and it turned into a therapy shopping trip. Can you guess what happened? I bought the Norvina Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Since my move, job hunting has been stressful!!!! What can I say, I have breaking points. And apparently velvety lilac palettes with beautiful colors and sparkles inside are my breaking point. LOL!
Check out all the pictures and you will see what I mean.

Do you have a weakness or way to keep your mind off of stress? Tell me about it in the comments down below.

As with most of ABH palettes, there is quite a bit of kickback/fallout when you dip into the shades. This isn’t something that bothers me as long as the colors perform without any patchiness. Which this palette doesn’t have a problem with.

The shade Dreamer is beautiful used as an all-over face highlight.

Browsing around ULTA Beauty the other day and this little gem caught my eye.

Of course the sparkle caught my eye, like a fish in the water. (Insert eye roll here)

I don’t have a lot of NYX lip products. The few I have are definitely a hit or miss for me. My favorite NYX Lip product is their Butter Gloss. Highly recommend you try them out! Enough about those, this is about their Lip Lingerie Glitter lip gloss. There were quite a few beautiful shades. I narrowed it down to one. “Shy” seemed like a great wearable color.

Upon opening the tube, I immediately noticed the smell. It is incredible. I cant even pinpoint it. Slightly fruity, but not an overbearingly fruity. During application it feels thick on the lip. Not thick and sticky, but thick and creamy. The color I chose looks icy. I wonder if the other colors look icy like this one or if it’s just this shade? It’s not a thin glistening glittery lip gloss like I was expecting. It actually felt like a thick, buttery liquid lipstick. If that makes any sense. And I can also feel the glitter particles in it, which I’m not a big fan of. I guess what I am trying to say is that this product is a miss for me. To be honest, I disliked the feel of it on my lip so much that I removed it immediately and I do plan to return it. Sorry NYX. As pretty as it looks, I don’t like the feel.

Have you tried this collection by NYX? If so, what are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them.
